Fall Bazaar

Placeholder Picture

The Fall Bazaar has been an annual event at Prince of Peace for over forty years. It began as a mission project by the women of the church, but men are now also actively involved. The bazaar is usually held on a Saturday in October. People in Chocolay Township donate items they no longer need or use, and then the items are resold at reasonable prices. Any usable item is accepted except for clothing. If you have quality used clothing, please consider donating it to the New Free Store just down the road. In 2021 the bazaar raised $2400, which was donated to the Salvation Army.

We always have a large selection of books representing many genres. No book should be read once and discarded.

There are normally pies, breads, and other baked goods to choose from. We have a Tea Table with tea, coffee, and finger foods. Tables are provided, so shoppers can chat with their friends over tea and snacks.
